Stop What You’re Doing and Fly Over This Amazing Crater Rim on Mars
We’ve seen a lot of awesome pictures from robotic probes on Mars over the years. And yet the sheer awesomeness of this screenshot from a high-definition simulated movie of Mojave Crater blew us away.
This particular shot comes from a 2009 flyover movie called “Soaring Over Mars” that takes you through canyons and craters, which you can see below. The image shows the amazing mountainous rim of Mojave crater, a 50-kilometer-wide impact scar that has recorded the watery history of Mars. Alluvial fans on Mojave result from heavy downpours at some point in the past, looking remarkably similar to features in the Mojave desert in California, hence the crater’s name.

Tablet review: Tesco Hudl vs Argos MyTablet
As Argos release MyTablet, their budget answer to Apple's iPad, Harry Wallop compares the device with Tesco's offering, the Hudl.
Tesco and Asda have launched their own-brand mini tablet computers for less than half the price of Apple's version, with Argos's device hitting the shelves this week for a mere £100.
Argos is specifically targeting the 8 to 13-year-old market and the MyTablet comes pre-loaded with a number of games such as Angry Birds and Fantasy Breaker.
It promises the device has "pre-loaded parental controls", which is not true as I could view a gambling website straight away.
Tesco Hudl, £120
16GB storage
7" 1440 x 900 HD screen
Best things:
Crisp screen
BlinkBox, Tesco's film service pre-loaded
Good sound quality
Worst things:
Able to connect to HDMI TV, but no cable included
Poor battery
Not a great Wi-Fi connection
Argos MyTablet, £99.99
8GB storage
7" 1024 x 600 screen
Best things:
Price
Games and Aldiko book reader pre-loaded
Worst things:
Poor screen resolution
Poor battery
Bad WiFi connection
Able to connect to HDMI TV, but no cable included
