More space news and info at: http://www.coconutsciencelab.com - during an eight-day period, from October 19 - 27, 2014, the largest active region seen on the sun since 1990 released an incredible five X-class flares. Each of those flares is shown here.
The blue and red graph lines represent two different wavelength bands of X-rays. The only important thing to notice is simply that the intensity of X-rays spikes during the solar flares.
