ISIS Beheads 21 Coptic Christians in Libya – A Message Signed With Blood: To the Nation of the Cross (Video)

As a sequel to burning alive of the Jordanian POW pilot Moath All-Kasasseba, ISIS decided to behead 21 Christians on a beach front in Tripoli Libya as their magazineDabiq said that its branch in Tripoli had captured randomly from an apartment complex after checking their identification cards which said “Coptic Christian” and then executed the 21 Christian Copts after being kidnapped late last year.

The undated photos showed the captive Coptic Christian workers wearing orange jumpsuits usually donned by Islamic State prisoners before they are executed by the jihadists.

ISIS as an excuse for the beheadings and the bombing of Our Lady of Deliverance Church in Baghdad which claimed the lives of dozens of Christians in Iraq at the time, saying that all this was “in revenge for the Camellia Shehata and Wafa Constantine and the other sisters tortured inside the Coptic church in Egypt”. The story was in reference to the two women, which erupted in much controversy in Egypt about unconfirmed reports the two had converted to Islam, and the intervention of the church at the time.

Grief and sorrow followed 6 villages (Alaour- Mnkerios- Dysh- Allsoppa- Aljebali- Samson) north of Minya, following the publication of the executions.

A video capturing a tour of one village where seven of the victims came from interviewing the grieving families which breaks the heart. It shows the depraved and sad condition of the Christian Copts in Egypt. The young men were simple bread winners who sent whatever they can glean from Libya to sustain their families back in Egypt:

Many Egyptians are angered. Mustafa Bakri a TV commentator could not hold his tears as he announced the news and had to stop airing the piece:

“Just now they announced the butchering of 21 Egyptians comes to us now. I have seen their family and have seen their pitiful condition and how they live in such poverty … young men, like roses” says Bakri asking for an intermission after he realized he could not hold his tears.

It is effecting Copts as it is Jordanians for the burning of their POW.

The terrorist magazine, said that the attack on the Baghdad church was planned by Huzaifa Batawi then, in collaboration with the ISIS senior military commander Abu Ibrahim al-Zaidi, who died.

ISIS justifying its target of Christians in Iraq that since it was away from Egypt which prevented them from carrying out attacks against Copts, but now since their penetration in Libya and now in Sinai, “it is easy to implement retaliatory attacks against Christians in Egypt” according to ISIS.

While the method of killing was not declared by ISIS, from the photo above, it becomes obvious that each of the executioners have a knife which the handle blade looks like the blade of a Samurai sword can clearly be seen and usually when ISIS dresses in the black attire, it is for a beheading scene.

ISIS declared in its magazine that every Muslim must kill Coptic Christians wherever they are found:

“And thus, the Islamic State strikes terror in the hearts of the Copts after it strikes terror in the hearts of their Catholic allies before … Finally it is important for Muslims everywhere to know that in the great reward to be found on Judgment Day for those who spill the blood of these Coptic Crusaders wherever they may be found”.

The reference to Catholics by ISIS is regarding the history of wars between Islam and the Catholic Church when Islam protested against Catholic doctrine.

All the kidnapped workers belong to the province of Minya from impoverished villages in Upper Egypt were kidnapped between late December and early January in the Libyan city of Sirte.

Sirte, 500 kilometres east of Tripoli, is in the hands of Ansar al-Sharia, which gave its allegiance to Caliph Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi the leader of ISIS.

Egypt’s foreign ministry is following the development and trying to verify the claims, spokesman Badr Abdel Atty has said.

On Thursday evening the Egyptian presidency issued a statement saying that it was following the matter closely and seeking to verify the information. The statement added that the committee assigned by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to follow the situation of the kidnapped workers was in contact with official and non-official Libyan sources in order to find out the latest developments in the case on the ground.

In January Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry assigned a special committee to secure the return of the kidnapped nationals.

The Islamic State also said its kidnapping of the workers “commemorates” the October 2010 bombing of the Catholic Church in Baghdad in 2010 which killed at least 58 Christians.

Several Coptic Christian Egyptians have been killed in Libya in recent years. Last year, the bodies of seven Christians who had been shot were found near the city of Benghazi.

In December, armed men abducted and murdered a Coptic teenager in Sirte after murdering her parents.

Thousands of Egyptians work in Libya, primarily in the construction industry.

Egypt renewed its warning against travel to Libya in December.

Egyptian Football Violence Spiraling Out Of Control

As Egypt's football league is suspended after a deadly stampede in Cairo's stadium kills at least 25 people, we return to Port Said, Egypt's 2012 riot that closed the league and left 74 fans dead.

Egypt's military council faced the full force of activists and die-hard football fans in Cairo's streets after the Port Said massacre. "We don't want this to end ugly!", one man shouts, as some protesters try to negotiate a ceasefire. But chaos erupts, rocks are thrown and tear gas explodes. The massive football death toll rekindles frustration at the slow transition to democracy.

Freeing The Slave Women Of ISIS

It's the story that exposed the true depravity of the Islamic State: thousands of defenceless girls captured as slaves. This emotional expose meets the woman desperately trying to save the Yazidi girls.

"Today is female slave market day. It is distribution day. With the permission of Allah everyone will get a share", cries the brazen fighter, reclining in a video that shows the casual barbarity of the Islamic State's army. Meanwhile, chased onto Mount Sinjar and executed en masse, Yazidi girls are captured as slaves to the so-called Islamic Caliphate. "I saw everything, I saw girls being raped, I saw their torturing, I saw them separating children from their mothers, some were 5 and 6 years old", says a 21 year-old-girl who managed to escape unimaginable horrors at the hands of one IS fighter. This is the cruel fate that befell the defenceless Yazidi people, caught in the horrifying path of destruction. Another goes on to describe in disgust how the blood of Yazidi girls is taken to treat wounded fighters on the frontline. Listening to her story is Kurdish activist Nareem Shammo, a woman determined to free the thousands of young girls still captive. "I will continue this work until the situation changes", she insists.

Fierce battles between Boko Haram and a growing coalition of Nigeria's neighboring states has left hundreds dead this week. Swarms of the group's jihadists launched a series of attacks inside Niger on February 6, marking the first time that Boko Haram has penetrated into that country. The attacks, which reportedly left over 100 Boko Haram fighters dead, also injured a senior Chadian army general.
Details on the clashes were reported by the AFP:
Boko Haram launched its first major attack in Niger on Friday, triggering a forceful response from regional troops who claimed to have killed more than a hundred of the Islamists.
The clashes in Bosso and Diffa, along the border with Nigeria, marked yet another expansion of violence attributed to Boko Haram, but it seemed to have come at a heavy cost.
Niger's defence minister reported that 109 of the Islamists were killed, along with four soldiers and a civilian. Seventeen other troops were wounded.
Chadian forces, who have taken a lead role in battling Boko Haram in recent days, fought alongside Niger's troops on Friday. Chad's commander in Niger, General Yaya Daoud, was also wounded with a gunshot to the stomach, a security source said.
Niger's Defence Minister Mahamadou Karidjo said calm had been restored to both Bosso and Diffa.
Chadian forces have been stationed in Bosso since Monday, a humanitarian worker said, adding that Boko Haram "took the municipality" for a time before being "driven back to Nigeria".
Other clashes broke out some 10 kilometres (six miles) from Niger's Diffa, which is on the border with Nigeria near a bridge that links the two countries. Its control is essential for transporting troops and supplies.
Little more than a stream, the Komadougou Yobe marks the frontier between Niger and Nigeria, and the water level has recently dropped considerably, making it easy to cross.
Earlier this week, Boko Haram counterattacked Chadian forces staging in the strategic village of Fotokol located in Cameroon, killing at least 70 people and destroying many homes as well as the central mosque, according to the BBC.
Unnamed US intelligence officials estimated this week that Boko Haram has about 4,000-6,000 "hardcore" fighters. The Islamist force has long occupied large swathes of territory in northeastern Nigeria and over 1.5 million Nigerians have been displaced by the violence. On February 7, the Nigerian electoral commission announced it will postpone the presidential and legislative elections scheduled for February 14 for six weeks, allowing for more time to secure the volatile northeastern areas, according to the AFP.

New BMW 7 Series 2016 BMW G11/G12 Future Luxury Commercial 2015 CARJAM TV

The BMW 7 Series is a line of full-size luxury vehicles produced by the German automaker BMW. Introduced in 1977, it is BMW's flagship car and is only available as a sedan or extended-length limousine. The 7 Series traditionally introduces technologies and exterior design themes before they trickle down to smaller sedans in BMW's lineup.[5]

A more modified version of the 7-series is the Alpina B7, made by Alpina. The B7 has performance-focused features - aesthetic features include body and bumper skirts, uniquely designed wheels, and a slightly modified interior. More importantly, the Alpina B7 features a revised engine and other performance enhancements. For example, the E65/66 (745i/Li and 750i/Li from 2003-2008) versions of the B7 featured a supercharged 4.4L V8 with 493bhp.
The 5th generation BMW F01/F02 went on sale in November 2008 and is currently still in production. The BMW F01/ BMW F02 was the first BMW 7-series available with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW all-wheel drive. It is the first BMW 7-series where all engines are turbocharged. The BMW ActiveHybrid7 was the first 7-series to use an electric motor.

The BMW front suspension is a double wishbone design, instead of the MacPherson struts used on previous generations.

It is in this generation that BMW changed the nomenclature from E to BMW F01, thereby making it the first BMW to have so.

Also the BMW model numbers have been changed for the new engine lineup. BMW 730d/Ld for the 3.0l inline six 258bhp diesel, BMW ActiveHybrid 7 for the 3.0l inline six 310bhp petrol hybrid, BMW 750i/Li for the 4.4l V8 473bhp petrol, BMW 750d/Ld for the 3.0l inline six 385bhp triple turbo diesel and BMW 760Li for the 6.0l V12 544bhp petrol.

All the engines are twin turbocharged for maximum efficiency and power. For 2014 it received BMW's new second generaton iDrive touchpad.
In the driver’s and front passenger’s area, precisely defined lines and surfaces create a sense of exclusive dynamism. The design of the instrument panel closely complements the design of the displays themselves. The driver is surrounded by a wrap-around cluster of three intermeshing displays, creating the typical BMW driver-centric cockpit. The three-dimensional display technology means that at the visual level the instrument panel styling appears to carry over into the displays themselves. In other words, to the eye the interior space seems to continue into the solid structures of the instrument panel, generating an impression of unprecedented depth and spaciousness.
The left-hand display mainly presents vehicle-related information, while in the centre a programmable cluster displays speedometer, rev counter and other information, as well as context-adaptive supplementary data, which is displayed as and when relevant. Meanwhile, the right-hand display – the Driver Information Display – provides additional infotainment information. The driver also has the option of controlling all these functions by voice command. Two large, deeply contoured single seats add to the appeal, inviting passengers to retire into their own personal “comfort zone”. A retractable table, the angled Rear Seat Displays and the rigid backs of the front seats create a very private ambience, sectioning this area off from the rest of the interior. The sense of privacy is accentuated by modern, flowing geometry and the use of select materials, with lavish wood surfaces extending from the rear parcel shelf to enfold the rear seat occupants in a cosseting three- dimensional space. Strategically placed lighting slats integrated into the wood echo the surrounding styling and, with their warm glow, accentuate the modern and cosy ambience. Finest-quality aniline leather in Batavia brown and a lighter Silk shade, Silk nubuk leather and the warm brown, layered lime wood all have a natural aura which offers unique visual appeal and quality. The division between darker materials in the upper areas and light materials in the lower areas creates a feeling of warmth and a luxurious sense of space.

Police Pursuit - Carjacking Armed Suspect Wild Pursuit SoCal February 09...

In a car chase more reminiscent of ‘Grand Theft Auto’ than the usual Los Angeles high-speed chase, a gunmen led police officers the wrong way down city streets, crashed at least six times, carjacked a car and more ‒ all during rush hour and on live TV.
It takes a bit extra for the residents of La-La Land to take notice of a car chase in an area “notorious” for them, according to KNBC. It is, after all, where Kato Kaelin and his white Ford Bronco became famous by helping O.J. Simpson flee the LA Police Department. And, during Monday’s afternoon rush hour, a madcap pursuit that culminated in gunfire made the denizens of the City of Angels sit up and take notice.
The wild ride began around 5:15 p.m. local time east of downtown LA after LAPD officers spotted a Toyota Camry with a license plate listed as stolen, the Los Angeles Times reported. They called for backup before attempting to pull over the driver, to no avail.
Instead, the armed man drove off, zooming through traffic ‒ sometimes going the wrong way ‒ at speeds of up to 60 mph on surface streets through southeast Los Angeles County and neighboring cities. He sped through intersections, ignoring red lights, double-yellow lines and other cars.

► 2015 BMW X6 M - The Engine

Δημοσιεύτηκε στις 10 Φεβ 2015
The M TwinPower Turbo engine for the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M is the most powerful unit ever developed by BMW for an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Boasting innovative M TwinPower Turbo technology with a pair of TwinScroll turbochargers, cross-bank exhaust manifolds, VALVETRONIC and High Precision Direct Petrol Injection, the 4.4-litre V8 produces maximum output of 423 kW/575 hp between 6,000 and 6,500 rpm. That represents a four per cent increase over the predecessor models. The step up is even clearer when it comes to the power development of the new engine. Peak torque has been boosted by 70 Nm (52 lb-ft), which equates to a rise of 10 per cent. Its 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) can be enjoyed across a broad rev range between 2,200 and 5,000 rpm.

At the same time, fuel consumption of the new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M in the EU cycle has been cut by 20 per cent – from 13.9 l/100 km(20.3 mpg imp) to 11.1 l/100 km (25.5 mpg imp). CO2 emissions are likewise down by more than 20 per cent, to 258 g/km. The two models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds through the standard eight- speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

ALASA GETTING CLOSER TO DELIVERING BIG THINGS IN SMALL PACKAGES TO SPACE

ALASA GETTING CLOSER TO DELIVERING BIG THINGS IN SMALL PACKAGES TO SPACE

February 05, 2015
Progress on several potentially breakthrough technologies could pave the way for much cheaper, faster and easier small-satellite launches

Through its Airborne Launch Assist Space Access (ALASA) program, DARPA has been developing new concepts and architectures to get small satellites into orbit more economically on short notice. Bradford Tousley, director of DARPA’s Tactical Technology Office, provided an update on ALASA today at the 18th Annual Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s Commercial Space Transportation Conference in Washington, D.C. Tousley discussed several key accomplishments of the program to date, including successful completion of Phase 1 design, selection of the Boeing Company as prime contractor for Phase 2 of the program, which includes conducting 12 orbital test launches of an integrated prototype system.
“We’ve made good progress so far toward ALASA’s ambitious goal of propelling 100-pound satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO) within 24 hours of call-up, all for less than $1 million per launch,” Tousley said. “We’re moving ahead with rigorous testing of new technologies that we hope one day could enable revolutionary satellite launch systems that provide more affordable, routine and reliable access to space.”
Launches of satellites for the Department of Defense (DoD) or other government agencies require scheduling years in advance for the few available slots at the nation's limited number of launch locations. This slow, expensive process is causing a bottleneck in placing essential space assets in orbit. The current ALASA design envisions launching a low-cost, expendable launch vehicle from conventional aircraft. Serving as a reusable first stage, the plane would fly to high altitude and release the launch vehicle, which would carry the payload to the desired location.
“ALASA seeks to overcome the limitations of current launch systems by streamlining design and manufacturing and leveraging the flexibility and re-usability of an air-launched system,” said Mitchell Burnside Clapp, DARPA program manager for ALASA. “We envision an alternative to ride-sharing for satellites that enables satellite owners to launch payloads from any location into orbits of their choosing, on schedules of their choosing, on a launch vehicle designed specifically for small payloads.”
ALASA had a successful Phase 1, which resulted in three viable system designs. In March 2014, DARPA awarded Boeing the prime contract for Phase 2 of ALASA.
Because reducing cost per flight to $1 million presents such a challenge, DARPA is attacking the cost equation on multiple fronts. The Phase 2 design incorporates commercial-grade avionics and advanced composite structures. Perhaps the most daring technology ALASA seeks to implement is a new high-energy monopropellant, which aims to combine fuel and oxidizer into a single liquid. If successful, the monopropellant would enable simpler designs and reduced manufacturing and operation costs compared to traditional designs that use two liquids, such as liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen.
ALASA also aims to reduce infrastructure costs by using runways instead of fixed vertical launch sites, automating operations and avoiding unnecessary services. Phase 1 of the program advanced toward that goal by making progress on three breakthrough enabling technologies:
  • Mission-planning software that would streamline current processes for satellite launches
  • Space-based telemetry that would use existing satellites instead of ground-based facilities to monitor the ALASA vehicle
  • Automatic flight-termination systems that would assess real-time conditions during flight and end it if necessary
DARPA plans to continue developing these capabilities in Phase 2 and, once they’re sufficiently mature, intends to eventually transition them to government and/or commercial partners for wider use in the space community.
Pending successful testing of the new monopropellant, the program plan includes 12 orbital launches to test the integrated ALASA prototype system. Currently, DARPA plans to conduct the first ALASA flight demonstration test in late 2015 and the first orbital launch test in the first half of 2016. Depending on test results, the program would conduct up to 11 further demonstration launches through summer 2016.
If successful, ALASA would provide convenient, cost-effective launch capabilities for the growing government and commercial markets for small satellites. “Small satellites in the ALASA payload class represent the fastest-growing segment of the space launch market, and DARPA expects this growth trend to continue as small satellites become increasingly more capable,” Burnside Clapp said. “The small-satellite community is excited about having dedicated launch opportunities, and there should be no difficulty finding useful payloads.”

LRASM PROTOTYPE IS THREE-FOR-THREE ON SUCCESSFUL FLIGHT TESTS

February 09, 2015
Latest launch evaluated low-altitude performance and obstacle avoidance as part of the joint program’s accelerated development effort
Initiated in 2009 in collaboration with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, DARPA’s Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) program has been investing in advanced technologies to provide a leap ahead in U.S. surface warfare capability. The LRASM program aims to reduce dependence on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, network links and GPS navigation in electronic warfare environments while providing innovative terminal survivability approaches and precision lethality in the face of advanced countermeasures. After LRASM prototypes completed two successful flight tests in 2013, LRASM transitioned from a DARPA technology demonstration program to a formal U.S. Navy program of record in February 2014, with fielding set for 2018.
On February 4, the Navy, Air Force and DARPA completed another successful flight test, marking a significant step in maturing key technologies for the future operational weapon system. The joint-service team, known as the  LRASM Deployment Office (LDO), conducted the test to evaluate LRASM’s low-altitude performance and obstacle avoidance as part of the program’s accelerated development effort.
“We are very pleased with how LRASM performed today and we are looking forward to continuing integration efforts on the Air Force B-1, followed by our Navy F/A-18, over the next few years,” said Capt. Jaime Engdahl, the LDO’s Navy program manager. “We have a clear mission, to deliver game-changing capability to our warfighters in theater as quickly as possible.”
During the flight from the Sea Test Range in Point Mugu, California, a B-1B bomber released the LRASM prototype, which navigated a series of pre-planned waypoints to verify aerodynamic performance. In the final portion of the flight, the missile detected, tracked and avoided an object that was deliberately placed in the flight pattern to demonstrate LRASM’s obstacle-avoidance algorithms.
LRASM reflects initiatives from the Defense Department (DoD)’s Better Buying Power 3.0, which encourages rapid prototyping and other forms of innovative acquisition to keep a technological edge and achieve greater efficiency and productivity in defense spending.
“We’ve shown that by taking advantage of the Defense Department’s evolving acquisition policy, it is possible to significantly accelerate the fielding of a high-payoff technical system for the warfighter,” said Artie Mabbett, LDO director.
The LDO is developing LRASM as an air-launched offensive anti-surface warfare weapon to counter the growing maritime threats in anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) environments. Once operational, LRASM would play a significant role in ensuring military access to operate in open ocean/blue waters and the littorals due to its enhanced ability to discriminate and conduct tactical engagements from extended ranges.
