AGIA SOFIA scares THEM TOURKOUS

From the first moment that Constantinople fell to the Ottomans and Muhammad Fatih eisirthe riding the white horse of the Hagia Sophia, (where for some time, according to Turkish sources, remained motionless, looking with rapture the Pantocrator in the dome while impressive Capture scene and a Turkish film history), the great temple of Orthodoxy became the focus of various myths and legends circulated among the occupiers, causing an intense awe of this masterpiece of Orthodoxy now had surrounded the four Ottoman minarets .

Generally, the structure of this great architectural masterpiece Orthodox, according to Turkish sources themselves, based on the Christian symbol of the Cross and this inspires awe and a subtle fear of the future restoration of Hagia Sophia in natural holder, ie Orthodox worship.
But besides the crosses, and the Turks say other mysteries and scary for them to exist within the church. This command indicates that there is no need to touch this casket or even touch it. If this happens, then, according to legend, this will cause the "uprising" of Queen Sophia and then a terrifying noise would jerk the whole structure of the temple causing seismic eschatological events that scare the Turks.
But the legend of Queen Sophia has continuous. Thus, according to Turkish reports, the coffin is protected four archangels who are above the Dome of the church. The archangels are, they say they believe the Turks are Tzemprail, Michael, Israfil and Azrail. In fitting with the Turks, Tzemprail protects the Byzantine emperors, Michael the church from enemy attacks while Tzemprail and Israfil were the messengers of the events of the war in the Byzantine emperors. And these four archangels have regularly after the fall of Constantinople to protect the coffin of Queen Sophia of risk profane someone to open it and to bring about the Second Coming.
Another important myth that Muslims say is the legend of the "Hidden Patriarch" resembling the Greek legend of the hidden priest. The Turkish newspaper reports and the mystery of the underground tunnel that is centrally located inside the temple. As mentioned, this point there is a passage that leads to a large tunnel. The symbols are related to the Turkish fears about returning to the surface and the power of the Holy Eastern Roman Empire with the blessing of Jesus Christ himself.

Είκοσι μαθητές και άλλοι έξι ενήλικες σφαγιάστηκαν την Παρασκευή από ένοπλο σε δημοτικό σχολείο του Νιούταουν, μίας ημιαστικής περιοχής στην πολιτεία του Κονέκτικατ των ΗΠΑ. Ο δράστης αυτοκτόνησε. Σε άλλο σημείο εντοπίστηκε νεκρή η μητέρα του, στην δεύτερη πιο πολύνεκρη επίθεση σε σχολείο στην πρόσφατη Ιστορία.
O Ανταμ Λάντζα, σύμφωνα με τις πληροφορίες που έχουν δώσει στη δημοσιότητα οι Αρχές, έριξε δεκάδες σφαίρες μέσα στις εγκαταστάσεις του δημοτικού σχολείου, την ώρα που μέσα βρισκόντουσαν παιδιά ηλικίας από 5 ως άνω των 10 ετών. Ο ίδιος υπήρξε μαθητής του ίδιου σχολείου κατά την παιδική του ηλικία.
Οι αστυνομικοί που μπήκαν στο χώρο του μακελειού εντόπισαν 18 παιδιά και επτά ενήλικους, μεταξύ τους και τον δράστη. Ολοι πλην δύο παιδιών ήταν ήδη νεκροί, αλλά και αυτά κατέληξαν λίγο μετά την μεταφορά τους στα κοντινότερα νοσοκομεία.
Στον άλλο χώρο εγκλήματος που συνδέεται με τον νεαρό φονιά, φέρεται να εντοπίστηκε νεκρή η μητέρα του Νάνσι, αν και η αστυνομία δεν είχε διαψεύσει ή επιβεβαιώσει την πληροφορία τις πρώτες ώρες μετά τα συμβάντα. Το Associated Press ανέφερε ότι στο χώρο κατοικούσαν μαζί δράστης και θύμα. Ο Λάντζα σκότωσε την μητέρα του πριν πάει στο σχολείο για να κλιμακώσει το φονικό.
Κατά την ίδια πηγή, ο δράστης είχε διαγνωστεί με κάποιου είδους διαταραχή της προσωπικότητας στο παρελθόν.
Η αστυνομία, κατά τους Νιου Γιορκ Τάιμς, εξετάζει τις καταθέσεις του αδερφού του, Ράιαν. Ο 24χρονος είχε αρχικά ταυτοποιηθεί ο ίδιος ως ο δράστης από τα ΜΜΕ.
Το χρονικό της τραγωδίας
Ο Λάντζα χρησιμοποίησε, κατά την ίδια πηγή, τουλάχιστον δύο πιστόλια, ένα Sig Sauer και ένα Glock, ενώ στον χώρο βρέθηκε επίσης ένα στρατιωτικό επιθετικό τυφέκιο M4 Bushmaster .223, το οποίο εκτιμάται ότι ανήκε στον ίδιο.
Μάλιστα, κατά το NBC, είχαν αγοραστεί νόμιμα στο όνομα της μητέρας του δράστη, η οποία τελικά έπεσε η ίδια θύμα τους. Αλλη μαρτυρία θέλει την Νάνσυ Λάνζα να είναι συλλέκτρια όπλων και μάλιστα «Έλεγε ότι συχνά πήγαινε για σκοποβολή με τα παιδιά της».
Από εκεί, ο Λάντζα φαίνεται ότι αναχώρησε, με τρία τουλάχιστον όπλα και κατά πηγές και αλεξίσφαιρο γιλέκο, για το σχολείο όπου εργαζόταν ως εκπαιδευτικός η μητέρα του.
Το πρωί της Παρασκευής, οι μαθητές έμπαιναν στις τάξεις τους για τα πρωινά μαθήματα στο δημοτικό του Sandy Hook, στο Νιούτον του Κονέκτικατ, ένα προάστιο 27.000 κατοίκων υψηλού εισοδήματος σε δασωμένη περιοχή περίπου 130 χλμ. βορειοανατολικά της Νέας Υόρκης, όταν ακούστηκαν οι πρώτοι πυροβολισμοί.
Η διευθύντρια και η ψυχολόγος του σχολείου, που βγήκαν στο διάδρομο για να δουν τι συμβαίνει, εκτιμάται ότι ήταν τα πρώτα θύματα.
Τοπικά ΜΜΕ ανέφεραν ότι η σφαγή έγινε κυρίως σε δύο αίθουσες της πρώτης τάξης, στις οποίες «έπεσαν» δεκάδες, ίσως και πάνω από 100 πυροβολισμοί.
Μία μαρτυρία θέλει δάσκαλο να κλειδώθηκε μέσα στην τάξη με τα παιδιά και να τα έχει κρύψει στις ντουλάπες. Οταν ο δράστης αντελήφθη ότι η πόρτα ήταν κλειστή άρχισε να φωνάζει να του ανοίξουν, αλλά τελικά απομακρύνθηκε.
Η αντίδραση της αστυνομίας ήταν άμεση, αλλά και πανικόβλητη, καθώς κανείς δεν περίμενε κάτι τέτοιο, όπως υποστήριξε στο Reuters η Μελίσα Μέρφι. Εχοντας στη διάθεσή της ένα σκάνερ των συχνοτήτων της αστυνομίας, θυμάται ότι άκουγε τους αστυνομικούς «να ζητούν να έρθουν τα απαραίτητα για την αντιμετώπιση μεγάλων απωλειών ζωής και να ουρλιάζουν "στείλτε τους όλους, στείλτε τους όλους!". Δεν μπορώ να συνειδητοποιήσω ότι συνέβη κάτι τέτοιο, είμαι σε κατάσταση σοκ».
Αλλη μαρτυρία μίας νεαρής στο τοπικό NBC αναφέρει ότι άκουσε επτά ισχυρά «μπαμ» ενώ βρισκόταν στο μάθημα της γυμναστικής. Πολλά παιδιά άρχισαν να κλαίνε και οι δάσκαλοι συγκέντρωσαν τους μαθητές μέσα σε ένα γραφείο, όπως ανέφερε.
Τότε «ήρθε ένας αστυνομικός και μας είπε να τρέξουμε έξω, όπως και κάναμε, είπε το κορίτσι στην κάμερα του NBC».
Στις εικόνες που κατέγραψε ο φακός φαίνονται παιδιά να βγαίνουν από το κτίριο, το ένα κρατώντας τον ώμο του άλλου, πριν οι ειδικές δυνάμεις της αστυνομίας εισβάλουν στο χώρο.
Κατά το CNN, δεν ακούστηκε ούτε ένας πυροβολισμός μετά τον αρχικό καταιγισμό πυρών, ένδειξη ότι ο δράστης αυτοκτόνησε.
Αργά το απόγευμα (τοπική ώρα) και αφού ελέγχθηκαν εξονυχιστικά όλοι οι χώροι, άρχισε η απομάκρυνση των πτωμάτων και η διαδικασία αναγνώρισής τους από τους τραγικούς συγγενείς.
Ενας ρεπόρτερ ραδιοφωνικού σταθμού υπογράμμισε το γεγονός ότι σε αυτή την περιοχή των ΗΠΑ, στο βορειοανατολικό άκρο γύρω από τη Νέα Υόρκη και στα σύνορα με τον Καναδά, δεν είναι τόσο ισχυρή η «κουλτούρα των όπλων» που μαστίζει άλλες περιοχές των ΗΠΑ. Ετσι, το σοκ για τους κατοίκους ήταν ακόμη μεγαλύτερο.
«Αυτό το σχολείο είναι εξαιρετικά υψηλά αξιολογημένο - οικογένειες έρχονται εδώ για ασφάλεια και μία αίσθηση γαλήνης, στην οποία εισέβαλαν τα γεγονότα». Αλλος γονιός ανέφερε στο Associated Press ότι το συμβάν έχει σοκάρει τους κατοίκους, καθώς «ειδικά το Νιούτον του Κονέκτικατ το θεωρούσαμε ένα από τα ασφαλέστερα σημεία στις ΗΠΑ».
Σεμνός, έξυπνος και ιδιαίτερα πιεσμένος
Οπως τον περιγράφουν δύο παλιοί του συμμαθητές, ήταν ένας ντροπαλός, σπάνιας εξυπνάδας μαθητής, που ντυνόταν πιο τυπικά από τους περισσότερους συμμαθητές του.
Οι γονείς του Άνταμ, Νάνσι και Πήτερ, χώρισαν το 2008.
Στο Γυμνάσιο συνήθιζε να φοράει χακί παντελόνια, πουκάμισα και ενίοτε ένα ειδικό αξεσουάρ προστασίας της τσέπης από τα στυλό και τις πιθανές διαρροές του, όπως ανακαλεί στο Reuters ο Τιμ Αρνόνε που ήταν συμμαθητής του Λάντζα από το δημοτικό. Μαζί συμμετείχαν στο τεχνολογικό κλαμπ του σχολείου, παίζοντας ηλεκτρονικά παιχνίδια στις υποδομές του σχολείου. «Σίγουρα ήταν το πιο "φλώρικο" κλαμπ του σχολείου», αναφέρει ο Αρνόνε.
Κλειδί για την χθεσινή φρικτή κατάληξή του ίσως είναι η «σκληρή πίεση» από τους γονείς του να πετύχει ακαδημαϊκά, ειδικά από την μητέρα του. «Τον πίεζε πραγματικά σκληρά να είναι εξυπνότερος και πιο εργατικός στο σχολείο» θυμάται ο Αρνόνε.

«Οι καρδιές μας ράγισαν με αυτό που συνέβη σήμερα στο σχολείο του Νιουτάουν» δήλωσε με έντονη συναισθηματική φόρτιση ο Αμερικανός Πρόεδρος, Μπαράκ Ομπάμα. Οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, πρόσθεσε, έχουν ζήσει πολλές τραγωδίες σαν κι αυτή. «Είναι καιρός να αναλάβουμε αποφασιστική δράση, μακριά από τις πολιτικές πεποιθήσεις μας» τόνισε, επαναφέροντας έτσι την συζήτηση για τους νόμους των ΗΠΑ περί οπλοκατοχής.
Ο Λευκός Οίκος ανακοίνωσε ότι ήδη εκδόθηκε διάταγμα του Προέδρου, σύμφωνα με το οποίο θα κυματίζουν μεσίστιες οι σημαίες σε όλα τα δημόσια κτίρια της χώρας, για τέσσερις ημέρες, ως φόρο τιμής στη μνήμη των θυμάτων του μακελειού.
"Ως ένδειξη σεβασμού προς τα θύματα αυτών των παράλογων πράξεων βίας στο Νιούταουν του Κονέκτικατ", οι σημαίες θα είναι μεσίστιες σε κυβερνητικά κτίρια, στρατιωτικές βάσεις και πρεσβείες των ΗΠΑ, σύμφωνα με το διάταγμα αυτό που εκδόθηκε από τον Λευκό Οίκο και αφορά επίσης και τα πολεμικά πλοία.

Like M6 Coupes? Love doors? Then behold! Four-door, 552bhp M6 Gran Coupe lands…
Last month, BMW teased a shady, sinister-looking M-Power version of its 6-Series Gran Coupe. Today, it has given us both barrels straight to the chest. Internet: meet the M6 Gran Coupe.
As we suspected, it sports very similar firepower to its ‘standard' BMW M5 and M6 brethren. And by very similar, we mean identical: underneath that rather lovely body sits a 4.4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine developing 552bhp and 502lb ft of torque.
As such, it will accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.2 seconds - exactly the same as the M6 Coupe and 0.1s quicker than the M5 - and run on to a limited top speed of 155mph. If you so wish - and you live in Germany or own substantial acres of awesomely paved, straight runway - you can have the limiter set to 189mph with the M Driver's pack.
That power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed double clutch M gearbox, featuring Launch Control (which is ace), and something called low speed assistance. We doubt with 552 horses under the bonnet, this willever be an issue.
There's an electronic limited-slip diff at the back in collusion with the DSC stability control, both of which distribute the engine's power to give you maximum traction when a sudden burst of B-road rage descends. There's also a hydraulic steering rack (surely a good thing), optional carbon ceramic brakes, and dynamic damper control to better tailor the chassis.
Outside, it's familiar M fare, with those large air intakes sitting underneath the M kidney grille, flared wheelarches - pointing to a wider track both front and rear for the M6 Gran Coupe - 20in alloys, a new rear apron and of course, M-Power's favoured quartet of exhaust pipes at the back. Oh, and that rear apron incorporates a CFRP diffuser too, helping direct the airflow underneath the Gran Coupe.
It costs €128,000 in Germany, which is around £103,000, which is around £10k more than a BMW M6 Coupe. Do you, as BMW implores, agree that it brings "luxury and aesthetic appeal" to the M6 range? Tell us below.

To his sons and others in their rural North Carolina community, Daniel Patrick Boyd was a charismatic figure. But the U.S. citizen used his persuasive powers to no good end—he promoted violent jihad against Americans at home and abroad.
After a four-year investigation by the Raleigh-Durham Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), Boyd and two of his sons, along with five other conspirators—known as the Triangle Terror Group—were arrested and charged with providing material support to terrorists and conspiring to murder persons overseas, including U.S. military personnel. Boyd pled guilty and was sentenced in August 2012 to 18 years in prison.
A Well-Planned Takedown
The Triangle Terror Group takedown was planned months in advance. The FBI’s elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) helped create a ruse so that Daniel Patrick Boyd, his two sons, and other followers could be arrested without bloodshed.
A source inside the group helped arrange a shooting trip to a farm and a stop on the way at a construction site where Boyd would bid on a job—but the construction site was a fake.
After extensive surveillance, investigators knew that when Boyd and his followers went shooting, most of their weapons would be placed unloaded in the back of a pickup truck, said Dewayne Burroughs, a Durham Police Department officer who has been a member of the Raleigh-Durham JTTF since 2006. Only Boyd and his son Dylan were known to regularly carry a loaded sidearm.
On July 27, 2009, the takedown was executed. Dozens of law enforcement officers were hiding at the fake construction site when Boyd and his group arrived. Separate SWAT teams were assigned to arrest each subject—a tactic designed to further reduce the risk of violence.
The plan worked flawlessly. The only injury that occurred was to Dylan Boyd’s arm. He was bitten by an HRT canine to prevent him from getting to his loaded sidearm.
Chris Briese, then-special agent in charge of our Charlotte office, noted at the time, “People who are plotting to harm Americans are no longer a world away from us.” The men and women of the JTTF who investigated the Boyd case learned that fact firsthand as they worked to unravel the network of homegrown violent extremists.
The case began in 2005 with a tip from someone in the Muslim community that one of its members was becoming radicalized. Boyd was a hero to young Muslim-Americans because at the age of 19 he had traveled to Pakistan and Afghanistan to receive military training and to fight with the mujahedeen.
In 2006, one of Boyd’s North Carolina jihad recruits traveled to Jordan and e-mailed his mentor to ask how to get to the front lines to fight. “That’s when we began to understand how serious this threat was,” said Special Agent Paul Minella, a JTTF member who worked the case.
Over the next three years, the JTTF monitored the group—with the help of partner agencies and the support of the U.S. Attorney’s Office— using a variety of investigative tools, including court-ordered wiretaps and sources who infiltrated the group.
During one monitored conversation inside the food market Boyd owned, said Maria Jocys, who supervises the Raleigh-Durham JTTF, “in an effort to ingratiate himself with Boyd, one of the foreign-born co-conspirators bragged about his experience as a skilled sniper and graphically described how he shot a man overseas.”
“The talk at the market was often about fighting jihad and how, in their belief, fighting jihad was an obligation,” added Special Agent Bill Logallo, another JTTF member.
Investigators tracked Boyd’s network across the United States and six foreign countries. “It became very clear,” Jocys said, “that Boyd’s followers wanted to fight on the front lines overseas. And if they didn’t have the opportunity to do that, then they would wage jihad here at home.”

As the investigation continued, “we saw them buying a lot of weapons and ammunition,” Logallo said. Boyd dug a hole in his yard to bury a cache of weapons, and positioned long guns in every room of his house. He took his sons and recruits out to train with weapons and taught them military tactics.
Even after Boyd suspected that the FBI was onto his group, “they kept going,” Minella said. “That’s how committed they were to jihad and how right they thought they were about their obligation to kill non-Muslims.”
After a carefully orchestrated takedown planned months in advance (see sidebar), Boyd and the Triangle Terror Group were arrested in July 2009. They had committed no acts of violence, but the JTTF was certain it was only a matter of time before they did.
“Boyd and his followers wanted to kill people,” Jocys said. “We had to stop them.”
