An Electrifying Stunt - David Blaine's Next Act
David Blaine, the magician and endurance artist, is ready for more pain. With the help of the Liberty Science Center, a chain-mail suit and an enormous array of Tesla electrical coils, he plans to stand atop a 20-foot-high pillar for 72 straight hours, without sleep or food, while being subjected to a million volts of electricity.

[dt.] Begnadete Reiter und wilde Tiere finden wir im Zoo in Guilin, Guangxi in China. Den Besuchern werden großartige artistische Vorführungen auf Pferden geboten. Die Reiterkunststücke erinnern an die Traditionen mongolischer Steppenvölker.
Die Kunststücke mit wilden Tieren erinnern an ähnliche Vorführungen im Europa der Fünfziger oder sechziger Jahre. Die Vorführung in der ein Tiger einen Büffel riss, haben wir uns erspart.

We find gifted horsemen and wild animals in the Zoo in Guilin, Guangxi in China. The visitors can see great stunts on horses. The equestrian tricks remind of the traditions of Mongolian steppe peoples.
The performed tricks with wild animals remind of similar demonstrations in the Europe from the fifties and the sixties. We spared to visit the demonstration where a tiger tore a Buffalo.
